Ben joined Seacoast Capital in 2017. Previously, Mr. Cao spent a summer at Google as a product manager working on next generation cloud computing solutions. Prior to joining Google, Mr. Cao spent 5 plus years at IBM as an engineer, product manager, cloud solutions client manager, and master inventor where he filed close to 200 patents in the areas of cloud computing, mobile user interfaces, streaming analytics, security and compliance, and mobile wireless networking. During his time at IBM, Ben helped to scale a 15-person emerging solutions team to a 300+ organization. He received his B.S. in computer engineering from Iowa State University, and completed his M.B.A. at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
